Overview
Over the past years, I've had the chance to speak at 6+ technical workshops and conferences, which has honestly been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. The biggest one was at Gujarat University, where I delivered a hands-on workshop to a crowd of 950+ enthusiastic students. The energy in that hall was unreal. I also gave an intro to cybersecurity workshop at GLS University, and participated in a bunch of community meetups and events around Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
What I love most about these workshops is the interaction. It's not just me talking at people; it's about breaking down complex topics like Agentic AI, container security with KubeArmor, or cloud security practices into something hands-on and practical. I try to make sure everyone walks away with something new that they can actually use or build on.
Gujarat University Workshop
This was probably my most epic speaking experience so far. I had the opportunity to deliver a hands-on workshop at Gujarat University on "Gemini in Action: Building Agentic AI Agents with MCP". With 850+ enthusiastic participants, the energy in that hall was truly next level.
We started by breaking down what Agentic AI really means—going from familiar examples like Siri and Alexa to explaining how today's LLMs and Generative AI use these concepts. From there, we built a simple AI agent and even integrated it with an MCP tool. Seeing the curiosity and excitement from the students was genuinely the highlight of my day.
The support from the organizers and volunteers was incredible. Their passion and vision transformed what could've been just another session into something truly phenomenal. The crowd made the energy contagious, and that's what made this workshop so memorable.
Open Source Weekend - KubeArmor Workshop
This one was a milestone for me. I delivered my first session as a speaker at Open Source Weekend, and it was a practical deep-dive into KubeArmor: Introduction to Runtime Security in Containers. We had 70+ amazing participants join for this hands-on session.
I demonstrated KubeArmor's runtime security by blocking basic commands like cat and apt, then we tackled obfuscated code—which got stopped in its tracks thanks to LSM and eBPF operating at the kernel level—and wrapped it up with a practical zero-trust use case, where we allowed only specific resources inside the container.
The whole experience showed me how much I enjoy making complex security concepts accessible and hands-on. Every single participant who showed up and engaged made this session meaningful. This was a big step for me in becoming more comfortable with public speaking and community engagement.
GDG Cloud Gandhinagar - Core Team
My journey with GDG Cloud Gandhinagar has been pretty incredible. I started as an attendee, just showing up to learn and meet people in the cloud community. Then I stepped up as a volunteer, helping organize events and support speakers. Eventually, I got the opportunity to be part of the core team, and honestly, I loved every bit of it.
Being on the core team taught me so much about what goes into building a community—the logistics, the coordination, making sure everyone feels welcome, and creating an environment where people can share knowledge. It's been a rewarding experience to contribute to this ecosystem of future leaders and creators, and I'm grateful for everything I've learned along the way.
